1250 Greene Avenue is a 6 storey luxury mixed-use development with a commercial ground floor and 19 luxury condominium residences above. It is the first building in Montreal to offer the timeless quality of Indiana limestone with state-of-the-art rainscreen envelope design. The envelope incorporates a real limestone veneer, anchored to a precast concrete backup panel. Stone filler pieces applied after the erection of the precast hide the panel alignment behind. Upper cornices and larger penthouse window frames are of exposed precast concrete crafted to match exactly the texture and color of the real limestone below. Limestone loggias and balconies with hand-forged wrought iron railings and a zinc/copper traditional mansard roof complete the composition.
