The Bell Campus is a new LEED certified International Headquarters for Bell Canada. Bell has sought to create a new corporate culture within the company and has amalgamated many divisions into one unified office campus. It offers workspace for 4200 employees, in a fully integrated campus environment the project features daycare, conference, health and food services.
The project massing has been carefully considered to minimize impact on the neighboring proposed residential lands and offer the best views through and around the project. In keeping with Verdun’s planning guidelines for a more urban environment, the buildings have been designed with limited setbacks against the streets and a more organic undulating façade facing on the courtyard.
The building envelope is a carefully balanced combination glass and articulated precast concrete panels, textured and colored to resemble natural limestone. The building facades will sit comfortably in the landscape and the landscape will flow from interior atrium spaces to exterior terrace and lawn areas.
The entire composition offers to Bell a timeless sustainable campus environment, with direct access to the urban core.
