The Marriott Courtyard and V Apartments are a combination of luxury hotel and rental apartments in downtown Montreal, comprising a U-shaped mid-rise 13 storey hotel block and an apartment tower.
The project comprises 220 hotel rooms and 240 apartments sharing a gym, a pool and meeting rooms. Its innovative design uses clear LoE glass and a pronounced precast base as a decorative screen; pieces of that screen play across the curved facade on René-Levesque.
The project is one of the first in Montreal to use unitized preglazed curtainwall and, at 40 storeys, was the tallest residential building in Montreal when built.
