Kolostat is large Quebec mechanical subcontractor, offering design, fabrication and installation services for plumbing and mechanical air conditioning. The design program was to include staffing for 100 engineering and administration employees into an existing warehouse structure. The design took advantage of the heights to offer open concept planning with a central “main street" for conference and café break out areas. The existing mezzanine was converted into a large cafeteria and lounge, as well as a gym and training conference room. The rear of the warehouse has been modified and expanded to provide for small parts and tool storage for the various maintenance vehicles.
